FWIW (for those who follow such things):
A pair of yellow-painted and RBZAF roundel-adorned CT-4's flew several orbits in formation over the outskirts of Cambridge (specifically Leamington and Pukekura) between 1246-1252 this afternoon, before departing in the direction of Hamilton airport.
Wile there will of course be a perfectly good reason for such activities, it is somewhat unusual to see the type this far north, especially two going 'round and round' for several minutes.
As I said, FWIW; hoping that the information is of use to someone.

Yes I saw them two. Very loose formation. I wondered what they were up to. Perhaps test flights after maintenance at Hamilton?

Possibly being held outside the HN control zone due to it being at peak capacity.
Also if it was the same pair they turned up at TG later that afternoon
