Enjoyed that clip of Alan Peart and Jim Robinson - nice to see the personal side of it all and the couple of jokes from the great gentlemen! Really worth seeing since I couldn't be there on the day.

I haven't had the chance to do a proper edit yet (flat out at work and with home renovations) but here's a short musical version...

Here is a fantastic message from Jim Robinson's family, sent via his granddaughter Amanda Nicholas:
"Dear Forum Members and to all people who donated their time, money, expertise and enthusiasm to make the Spitfire flight happen: Jim Robinson and his family would like to express their sincere thanks to all the wonderful people who gave Jim one of the most exciting events possible - a ride in a Spitfire!
What a boost to wartime memories! For that glorious day thanks first to Larry Hill who made it all possible, to Jim's old mate Alan Peart for the idea, and especially all the kind people who donated so generously. Very sincere thanks also to Doug Brooker, Frank Parker and Liz Needham and of course pilot Gavin Trethewey. Everyone's interest in Jim's wartime days means so much to us, and you all truly gave this elderly pilot and his family the thrill of a lifetime. "
