Who has a good view of the lunar eclipse?
We've got a great view of it in Wairarapa tonight.
It is almost fully eclipsed now.

I'm still watching, although it's now 1:22am in NZ.
The full moon is emerging from the eclipse and starting to lighten things up again.
You can still see a definite red tinge in the parts which are still in the earth's shadow.
I don't have to go to work in the morning (in fact, I don't go back to work again until next Wednesday morning), so I can afford to stay up late tonight to watch the free show.
Something weird though....all the dogs in my neighbourhood started nutting off as the moon reached the full eclipse and they have only just gone quiet again not long ago.

yeah, nice clear skies down south here in the metropolis of Rolleston. early start this morning to get the freshest highest quality bread out to you lot but witnessed a glimpse before heading to bed last night. saw the moon start to get eaten away with a red arc around the top and bottom. another 4 years before we see it again.

Typical Auckland style. Got the first quarter and then it clouded over and rained...
