I have just been advised by Densil at Welsh Models that their recently released 1/72 B-727-100 will be released again in the new year with an RNZAF decal option.

Were there three schemes Beags? I remember two. Well actually they were operated in 4 schemes. The first was the original United scheme as they were pressed into service upon arrival due to moving police around for the Springbok tour of 1981. The next scheme was the original RNZAF one with grey/white and blue cheat line along the windows. In the 90's a new scheme was adopted to look more corporate. after approx. 1 year, the scheme on the tail and rear fuselage was revised lessening the amount of blue on the vertical fin.

OK. I liked the one with the dark blue cheat line best.
