Thanks Errol! Looks like the displays are relatively high and distant compared with NZ?

We thought that when I was there in 2013, but the regs are apparently basically the same. In 2013 there was a decent on-crowd wind, so things were set up further away than normal. The linked photos were taken with a 18-200mm lens on a DX body (so x1.5), which most would consider a bit 'short'. At Temora I was using my 70-300 lens (on a x1.5 body), my display shots are at 300mm, while ones of take-offs/landings are zoomed back a bit (200-250). So it isn't surprising that that those photos 'feel' a bit distant (I only noticed the user when they followed me on Flickr this week, probably while they searched for Temora photos!)

I hoped and thought I'd never have to experience the 41 Celcius and on-crowd 40 Knot winds of the Temora Friday again, but today at Nowra a storm came through with very similar temperatures and 50 knots winds. Looking forward to some normal weather at home!!

The promo for the Official DVD of Warbirds Downunder 2015 was released this morning. It looks like another excellent film from the guys of New Zealand's own FlightPath TV. Well done to Fletch, Malcolm and the crew.
Check it out here:
