Greetings, I have what I think is quite a rare book in my possession which is called "The Royal Flying Corps in the War" by err..."Wing Adjutant" It was published in 1918, hence the authors secretive name and throughout the book there is various pilots name's not revealed (ie Lieut. W----) !! It's not in perfect order, has suffered some water damage but is complete. Is it worth giving to a museum, ie Omaka or Wigram?

A book like this can be restored back to almost new, Ive done two least had the connections, unfortunately the shop closed up, but one book was very important regard to the Samoan Chiefs dated to the 1870/80s it was restored back to amazing condition for his family, another more recent 1950s aircraft encyclopedia and again return in a fantastic condition .. well worth doing.

I'd rather give/donate it to someone who would appreciate it and maybe restore it. Any takers?

How about newly-qualified Fokker Dr.1 triplane pilot Bevan Dewes - it's his 21st Birthday today!

Hi Chris, Bevan is definitely keen. He's away from home at the moment but I'll put the two of you in touch.
