Hello all, was cleaning my laptop screen with liquid glass cleaner (yes I know idiot) and some went in the right hand side bottom corner. Seems that it can be seen on my screen now (especially when viewing a white background). Anyone had this same problem? How did you overcome it? Seems to be getting better through the afternoon so hoping it will 'dry off'. Any suggestions welcome. If no solution, this will become a spare....

Thanks chaps. Noticed it does not look as bad today so maybe it is drying (or I'm getting used to it).

Plastic bag, the shopping variety is fine. Dark coloured t towel (blue, black etc..). Insert said laptop in plastic bag..leaving a small opening for airflow, then place in a sunny spot (difficult in winter) then cover with the dark t towel. Should achieve 2 things, a localised increase in temperature and relative humidity, which should remove the remaining moisture. I did this with a mobile phone recently, and it's now working as good as new.

Same large plastic bag idea as above but with a couple of cups of dry rice in it to help absorb the moisture.
