I was pleased to see a mention of the forum, and Peter Wheeler, in the acknowledgements of this book by Sean Feast. The book is about Gerry Anderson's (of Thunderbirds TV show etc fame) older brother, Lionel, who flew Defiants on Moonshine and Mandrel jamming ops before being lost flying intruder ops on Mossies. This forum, and Peter, enabled the author to speak to Reg Dunbar who had flown on the jamming ops and could provide a first-hand account of what they were really like.
A nice little hardback that is well-written and is certainly the first I have come across with a detailed account of No. 515 Squadron's activities and the Moonshine and Mandrel ops and the clear definition between the two.
