Recently made the short drive north of Brisbane to the Caboolture Warbirds Museum. Link to Museum's web page www.caboolturewarplanemuseum.com.auThis Mustang painted in the colours of a post war RAAF machine. The indigenous Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation Wirraway. This Beech 18 had a mishap with some of the resident Kangaroos that occasionally frequent the airstrip, while I don’t know the exact details she had to belly land. Parked outside the hangar a well weathered DC3. Down from the DC3 a Caribou. Then behind the Caribou in the hangar, a Beaufort under restoration to fly.

That Beaufort has come on heaps since I last saw it.
