I've finally completed a long build of our favourite Beaufighter ... Tamiya 1/48 kitset, Tamiya enamel & Aeromaster acrylic paints ... A word about Aviaeology's new decal set, 'The Coastal Strike Wings Dallachy Beaufighter TF.Xs' That word is SUPERB!!! The volume and quality of research information is extraordinary and the set covers no fewer than 16 aircraft from 144, 455 (RAAF) and 489 (RNZAF) Squadrons. Gets my highest recommendation. Awesome build Wally! I have always liked the TFX Beau with the thimble nose. The finishing on your build is perfect. I bought a couple of the Xtradecal sheets with Aussie DAP and post war target tugs - someday I'll build one.
Cheers
Mike
