Just had this sent to me......................
"Regarding the new or extensions to the existing main hangar are concerned. Have just found out today that the movement of MOTAT's old Belfast hangar, our restoration workshop, has been brought forward from late spring/summer to the present time. This has really thrown the cat amongst the canaries as all the existing aircraft under restoration will have to be moved outside to allow for the relocation work on the hangar to commence and work on the extension of the main building to get under way."
Don't like the sound of this part...."....all the existing aircraft under restoration will have to be moved outside to allow for the relocation work on the hangar to commence ........"

Sounds like a return to the bad old days at MoTaT?

On the bright side it might be a good oportunity to get some clear photos of the AT-11, RB-34, Mossie, Avenger, Harvard etc. 'Specially the RB-34 as it going up in the air again in the extension. ......the glass is half full.

Interesting to see the project being brought forward rather than delayed, that has to be some good news.
I hope the weather is kind to the collection. I assume it will be a case of laying the new floor, then move the planes out, move the hangar and put them back in. As the hangar is made to be transportable I hope the planes won't be outdoors too long.
Definately try to get some photos please if you can. I'm interested in seeing how the Mossie is coming along and if the restoration of the Hudson has begun yet.

If some MoTAT-mole can let us know when the aircraft are going to be outside, we can rush over there, get some photographs, and share them around.
