Carol Vorderman (ambassador for the Air Cadets in the UK and TV personality) has organised a petition calling for last surviving British Dambuster, George "Johnny" Johnson to be officially honoured.
Incredibly Johnny was nominated for this year's honours but was snubbed, hence the outcry and Carol starting the petition.

But if they can give James Corden an OBE you would have thought they could give a gong to somebody 1,000 times more deserving than most.
