Wow, what awesome photos! I'm not normally a fan of warbirds in Civil schemes, but CCG looks stunning in that nice simple white and red scheme. Very nice....

I agree, the scheme gives it a rather sporty look. Where were those photos taken out of interest?

Great photos.Saw it when I was but a young whippersnapper.Judging by the old cars in the background of pic 2,the pics were taken in the late 60's?.

CCG was active (in that scheme) from November 1964 until it went into storage in 1968 - from loss of Mobil sponsorship, I understand.

Fantastic shots! I've not seen that much of 'CCG as she was back then. If I had the cash I'd bring her back here in a flash. I'd be keen to hear how much she actually flies with Kermit Weeks and Fantasy Of Flight....
