On boith my recent trips to Ardmore I noted ZK-DAK was not there, and I heard it has been away for ages from Ardmore. Does anyone know where it is, and what it's doing? Is she undergoing maintenance?
Is Andrew Hope still out there, we haven't seen him here for a bit.

She's very cute, Andrew. I hope that you've gotten her into a good sleeping cycle?

Lets just say that it's a real pity the AB's lost as I was looking forward to some good tv at 3AM Oh well, I'll just have to keep an ear out for Joe on his o'dark thirty run in the pencil! Thanks guys for the comments... never thought much about baby's but they are pretty cute and standby for a zillion pictures of Baby's and Aeroplanes

Congratulations Andrew!! Remember the forum is a 24-hour thing, so at 3am you can check the latest news and photos out. Good to hear the Dakota is safe and well too. I was beginning to fear the Aussies had nicked it like all our other good 'planes.

DAK is back. Caught these tonight on her last landing. Congrats Andrew on the new arrival and may you not have too many sleepless nights! (Teenage years are the worst!) ;D Colin

Nice photos, Colin.
I particularily like the ankle high 'barrier' fence to keep people off the strip! ;D

Great shots, Colin.
We were doing our 3 Take offs and landings for currency. A beautiful afternoon, great to get back in the saddle!
She has a scenic Friday afternoon 1330 takeoff if you are around. Drop me a PM if you are free and I'll give the exact timings so you can get the start or set up for some good shots.
Cheers
Andrew

You're a bad boy Andrew. Good to see DAK in one piece again, it was looking a bit sad with it's wings off at Palmy.

Unfortunately no. We were on one of those "Oh by the way, we know you've just got back from Dunedin, but you are off to Palmerston North" jobs and didn't have time to get my camera. Interesting to see the piping and structure of the wing attachments. Lots of plumbing!

See the Fieldair advertorial in the last Aviation News for Pics of DAK with her wings off - They had to remove some of that nice shiney new paint to take the access panels off the underside hope they put it back on!
