I heard a rumour that a group was trying to stop the export of the ex motat Corsair and parts, does anyone know more about this?

Much as I appeciate the sentiments of any group trying to prevent the Corsair being exported, If they really wanted to stop it going, they should have raised funds and brought it. Its a commercial world out there and money talks.....
Using legal or protesting just gets up everyones nose and stirs up bad relations - Its happened so many times in the past.
I just hope that the new owner will put it in RNZAF colours rather than the ever present USN schemes....
