Greetings from Adelaide Sth Australia I am a 74 yr old aviation enthusiast who has just joined this forum (please feel free to shoot me down if I am in the wrong place) in the hope that there are other like minded people out there that are in the know I am currently chasing information re ZK-DHW, De Havilland DH.104 Dove 8 last known with the Devon 21 Syndicate which I believe is non operational The information that I am hoping to find is , does any one know as to what has happened to this aircraft as a data base that i use has the aircraft as being exported to Australia Any information forth coming will be gratefully received geoffchat

Can't open the link. But I think the aircraft is still at NE in the Confeds Hangar, may even be stripped for parts by now???

The Dove remains at Dairy Flat for the time being with the wings detached. The airframe is complete but has corrosion issues.

Devon ZK-DHW at Dairy Flat soon after arrival, 2003I last saw it stored in the (ex?) CAF hangar at Dairy Flat about two years ago.

Hi, not quite- DHW (or the airframe formally known as DHW, as it's now de-registered) will be moving in large pieces to a new home in Ashburton NZ. It will be stored pending either being a parts donor or possibly resurrection.
