Just returned from Malta, and thought I’d post a few pics taken not enough memory cards to be over indulgent so when we return to Malta next year, I will hopefully be better prepared . The first three shots are of Gladiator N5520 ‘Faith’ at the war museum in Valletta, the other pics were taken at the Malta Aviation Museum Ta’ Qali…….. Gladiator N5520… Malta Aviation Museum Spitfire EN199… Hurricane Z3055…. Sea Hawk WV826…. Lightning nose section, from XN176… Tiger Moth, G-ANFW….. Swordfish HS491, something for the future…... One of the collection of excellent model diorama’s… Le Pou Du Ciel (Flying Flea) Dakota T9-ABC one of two Dakota’s in the collection.

Great photos! Looks like that museum has a large and interesting variety of aircraft and displays. I like the diorama, the effect of the water around the ramp is excellent.

Excellent photos Len! It's amazing how far-spread the Flying Flea got despite its awful reputation.
I love that model of the ''wet apron'' too.
I saw an awful crash on the news last night in Malta, was there a big international airshow on or something?

Apparently some sort of Aero GP which tours locations around the world for two-day meets, includes an air race, one-on-one dogfights and target bombing and flying duels. tvnz.co.nz/view/page/411749/828258
