A South Canterbury-built replica of a 103-year-old German fighter plane is almost ready to fly.
Russell Brodie, his son Ross, and friends, hope to take to the skies above the Rangitata Island Aerodrome this week, to test their replica 1915 Fokker Eindekker based on the single-seat fighter aircraft made famous in World War 1.
