What it's like to operate a Warship in the Strait of Hormuz

With the present goings on in the Persian Gulf & the recent seizing of a British flagged oil tanker by the Iranians, I read an interesting article by a former RN Commander on the operating conditions in this part of the world. This article was written prior to the seizing of the tanker, but after HMS Montrose had intercepted a group of small vessels attacking/harassing a UK flagged vessel in the Strait of Hormuz.
