I'll leave this post here for anyone interested. I use online (and offline) archival material from around the world for research purposes. During searching over the years, I've found some interesting and (perhaps) little-known textual, visual and audio material on Kiwis that can (mostly) be downloaded or viewed on the Internet for free.
1. National Archives & Records Administration, Washington DC
catalog.archives.gov/id/136011522
This is a document containing an interview with S/L Reg Grant RNZAF by the ATAD Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, US Navy, September 1943, while Reg Grant was in the United States.
catalog.archives.gov/id/75977
catalog.archives.gov/id/75976
catalog.archives.gov/id/75975
These are American B&W film rushes that include footage of RNZAF Kittyhawks and personnel at Torokina Fighter Strip on Bougainville (the digitised videos can be viewed online or downloaded)
2. Imperial War Museum Film Archive, London (videos can be viewed online)
film.iwmcollections.org.uk/record/2588
The British propaganda film 'Maximum Effort' featuring Lancaster aircraft and personnel from 75 (NZ) Squadron.
film.iwmcollections.org.uk/record/1335

film.iwmcollections.org.uk/record/4642
film.iwmcollections.org.uk/record/4638
film.iwmcollections.org.uk/record/4634
Gun Camera compilations, including 485 (NZ) Squadron (see the item description for individual clip details)
3. CD41 Recordings (from their product catalogue, audio clips must be purchased on CD or via iTunes etc to play/listen)
These are compilations of historical (BBC) wartime audio recordings, including interviews with New Zealand personnel:
www.cd41recordings.com/for_valour_victoria_cross_winners_1914-1945.html
Includes interviews with Charles Upham and Jimmy Ward
www.cd41recordings.com/dunkirk_and_the_battle_of_france_and_flanders_1939-40.html

Cheers
