Can anyone help with location of this pilot's fatal crash in Tempest V EN881? The aircraft exploded in flames in a forced landing following engine failure. Collided with a stone wall. His unit was 33 Sqdn, and at the time was converting from Spitfires at Predannack and preparing for a move to the Continent in Feb., 1945.
Also, confirmation of Neil MacDonald's service no., which I have as 42427, would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

From Vol Two of my For Your Tomorrow - A record of New Zealanders who have died while serving with the RNZAF and Allied Air Services since 1915: Thu 28 Dec 1944 2nd TACTICAL AIR FORCE Local flying practice 33 Squadron, RAF (Predannack, Cornwall - 135 Wing[?], 84 Group)Tempest V EJ881 - took off at about 1030, but 30 minutes later experienced engine trouble followed by complete failure. When force-landing in a small field 3 miles SSE of Helston, slid into a stone wall 80 yards from where it first touched down and burst into flames. The pilot was buried on New Year’s Day at Bath. Investigation revealed that a fractured con rod had led to the engine failure. Pilot: NZ42427 Wt Off Neil Evan McLeod MACDONALD, RNZAF - Age 23. 570hrs (2 on Tempest) 46 ops. Errol
