Can't see it as anything but ;-) Only 6 pages, didn't you have half a dozen photographers there :-)

Hey where did his post go ? Peter, I don't really care if you work for Aero and plug their Magazine. For the record, Aero has 6 pages in the latest edition covering Wanaka. It may be worth going out and having a look :-)

Not wishing to offend other members I pulled the post. That is why I prefaced my comment by admitting that it was a "blatant" ad. As the magazine is probably not well-known in NZ and it had the feature in the current issue I humbly thought that it would assist NZ members to see the spread that Aero had provided.
My apologies if I offended anyone.
I do not "work" for Aero, just lucky enough to have some of my images published.
Thank you for your kind suggestion that it "may be worth a look", Glen.

I think its good to know if New Zealand events are published in other magzines and its worth reading what overseas reporters and photographers think of new Zealand airshows. I will track down a copy and thanks for the heads up. Like you I supply photos to a couple of magazines as well and enjoy seeing my images published, makes all the time and effort worth while I think.

Thanks, xr6turbo1. I hope you enjoy the coverage. It will be interesting to see if other magazines provides a similar amount of space.

Peter, as aministrator of the forum I have absolutely no problem with people plugging aviation related products so long as they are not spam. Magazines articles, books, models, clubs, whatever...
Your post was entirely relevant and welcome, and in no way offensive. There was no need to pull it. If anyone places a post on here that may be inappropriate, they hear from me fairly smartly. You didn't, and you needn't have worried.
I actually have never looked at Aero magazine, but because of your post I am going to make an effort to try to get a copy of the Wanaka special. So, thanks for giving me and many others a heads up.
For the record, if any members are to have photos or article published, please do feel free to let us know about them. The forum's all about sharing information, and I don't see such a gesture as this as being commercialism.

Yeah on hindsight I could have said that better. But what I meant was I had not seen the magazine so I could not say for sure ;-)
And AOPA gave it 10 pages. If you include the cover. 9 if you don't :-)
And I agree with dave, your post was in no way offensive.
