Fighter Pilot Adventure Flights of Archerfield Queenland in conjunction with Red Thunder Airshows Queenland have put out a call to pilots and aircraft interested in participating in an Air Pilgrimage of 100 significant aircraft to the Australian International Airshow at Avalon in February 2021 as a part of the Centenary of the RAAF events.

The Centennial Pilgrimage 2021 is being planned to celebrate 100 years of the Royal Australian Air Force culminating in flying into Avalon Airshow 2021, the biggest Airshow Australia has ever held. We are looking for 100 aircraft, to celebrate 100 years, flown by pilots that are motivated to showcase Australian aviation through country towns that have significant military history. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to fly with like-minded aviation enthusiasts in celebration of this aviation milestone culminating in your aircraft being show-cased at Avalon 2021.
The current planning is to congregate on Monday 22nd February and commence the pilgrimage on Tuesday 23 February. The aircraft will arrive at Avalon (main) on Thursday the 25th February and will be on display until the airshow end on Sunday 28th February. All staging fields are yet to be confirmed and this detail will be announced at the earliest opportunity.
To ensure you and your aircraft is to be considered for this very limited and unique flying opportunity please register your interest immediately. When more detail is available you will receive an email update which will include important dates such as the final commitment date and the staging airfields.
Please register you interest in the Centenary Air Pilgrimage at:

Will be interesting to see how this develops, the degree of interest that they get and the planned route. If they get the variety of aircraft like they had for the 90th Anniversary event, certainly worthy of a trip to one of the airfields enroute for some photography.
