Today I completed this painting of an RNZAF Sunderland taxiing up to its mooring in Evans Bay.

I hope I have managed to capture the overall look of the Sunderland. But I know as a beginner aviation artist that I still have a lot to learn to achieve absolute accuracy in my aircraft! Some of my prooportions and shapes are a wee bit off, and I just couldn't get the placement of the portholes and panel-lines right.

But overall I am happy with it, and (as they say) practice makes perfect ... I just need a lot more practice!
