A little bit of information plus a couple of links - maybe more ASN links to follow as I scan the Mosquito entries: WoNZ Link: New Zealanders who flew with Photo Reconnaissance Units ASN Link: Aviation Safety Network AWM Link: Cenotaph Record1943: 30th October. Mosquito DZ424. Ops: Operation Crossbow. Photographic coverage of the Pas de Calais and Dieppe regions. 1943: 25th November. Mosquito LR414. Baird / Crofton (Flt Sgt A J W Crofton RAFVR). Ops: Photo-recce of Oschersleben, Dessau and Magdeburg. Returned early on one engine owing the port fuel feed failure, 10:40.

Well, well - I worked with S I Baird at General Motors in Trentham where he was a Superintendent on the Assembly Line - we knew him as "Terry"
He knew I was interested in aviation and we often spoke about his Mosquito days but not in the detail that I suspect Tony is after. Unlike some, he was only too happy to talk about wartime events.
