One of my ongoing projects is this little Waco Custom Cabin. The Resin Kit was originally produced by Dujin as a YQC-6, however this one has updated components provided by Lars Opland with new components including cowl options instrument panel, control wheels etc... I'm reworking this one to resemble a certain Waco UOC sesquiplane, I wonder if anyone can guess which? (I have to admit, I'm sorely tempted to put the wheel spats on!!) 1I7A2585 by Harry Follas, on Flickr 1I7A2582 by Harry Follas, on Flickr 1I7A2581 by Harry Follas, on Flickr

I remember the idea of spats possibly appearing at some point on the 1/1 version in its modern guise being mentioned by the commentary team at last year's Classic Fighters Omaka...

IT’s mentioned in the Classic Wings article to Zac! I’m thinking I’ll do them as the aircraft looks so much better with them
