Great photos Corsair67 and a sunny day too.
Nice parade and a fitting remembrance day tribute.
First and last time I was in Canberra was 1989. Nicely laid out and it was cloudy and raining so we did the Parliament tour. It was well worth the trip from Sydney even though the weather was poorly.

Colin, I hated Canberra when I first arrived here in 1989, but the place really does grow on you after awhile. Coming from Christchurch with all the lovely neo-gothic architecture to a city that was commenced in 1912 was a bit of a shock to the system! Anyway, with Sydney three hours up the highway, South Coast beaches two hours away and skifields about 1.5 hours away we've got a good life here! ;D Saturday was quite warm, and unfortunately it all proved too much for one poor RAAFie in the Federation Guard, as he flaked out and hit the scoria pretty hard 3/4 of the way through the service.
