In an old NZ Wings (I think 1987) I read that Randall McFarlane of Australia was looking for information on i=his ex-RNZAF Harvard's paint scheme from during the war. It was NZ1006 and apparently served with No. 25 Squadron at Seagrove, so was one of the few to serve with an operational squadron.
He wanted to paint it in the colours worn then.
Does anyone know whether he did indeed paint it into it's 25 Sqn scheme in the end?

Dave, that Harvard is registered as VH-TEX and is owned by Arthur Schmidt in Kalgoorlie, WA. He has owned it since about 1990.
I was trying to find photos of it on the 'net, but alas without success.

Yes, that's the one. Randall McFarlane owned it from 1986-90 as I understand it.

I took this one at Nowra May 05, unfortunately numbers are obscured but it is a Kiwi colour scheme. Simmo.

Baldrick, the one in your photo will be former-NZ1061, which according to Ivan Prince's adf.serials page is owned by D.L. Salter, Wanderriby, Wlacha, NSW.
The one in the other photo is hard to tell. I think there are a few in our Red/Grey scheme in Australia, including Lynnette Zucholli's one, NZ1085.
