This is a blatant commercial! : ;D
Aero #13 is in the shops. I am delighted to see my image of the two Spitfires at Temora feature on the cover.
My fellow photographers, Ryan Fletcher, John Freedman, et al have produced some great shots, too.

Thanks for the advice, Peter - been wondering when it'd hit the newsagents. Great photo too!

I still have not seen Aero in the shops here yet. I have been keeping an eye out. Mind you the local bookshop doesn't even stock FlyPast anymore!
Congratulations on the cover shot!

I guess the price of Flypast, plus how old the editions are by the time they hit the newsagents downunder puts a lot of people off? I've just begun a subscription to Pacific Wings and I have to say there have been quite a lot of changes made to that magazine over the years, and not all good either. I notice the NZ Register review page has gone.

I have always subscribed to Classic Wings (Downunder) which is the best warbird magazine there is. And the cheapest!
I used to subscribe to NZ Wings butgave it up in the late 1990's when it seemed to get less and less warbird content, and CW took over. I have still bought Wings on an infrequent case by case basis, and in recent months I've been buying it again every month. i may well subscribe again as i now realise that older issues are a great source of info for looking back at news that's now history. I am also filling the gaps in my older collection which goes back as far as 1972.
I had not noticed that the ZK register had disappeared, but CW covers all the interesting planes (warbirds and classics) each month. Plus the ZK register is all online on the CAA website, which is handy as it includes all historical owners of aircraft.

Maybe not in the shops just yet in NZ. Of course, a subscription solves the problem but it is not everyone's way. Classic Wings is terrific, I should buy a sub!
