I have just read a fantastic book which I highly reccomend. From The Ground Up-An informal history of agricultural aviation in New Zealand by Boyce Barrow 2005 I bought this on a whim, and once I started I found it hard to put down, it is written in a fast paced and affable style (similar to Bryan cox)and is really enjoyable to read (you keep on wanting to know what happens next). The storey follows Mr Barrows return from service overseas and into early ag flying in Tiger Moths and onto helicopters where he was instrumental in setting up and operating one of the countries larger helicopter operations through to his retirement. Copies are availiable here and there (easy to spot, the cover has a blue background with a B&W photo of an ag-Tiger buzzing a cow) or from the author himself; Mr B.C.Barrow P.O Box 59-057 Mangere bridge Auckland

Sure is - though he seems to have lived a fairly litigious life. I particularly liked his story of the CAA man turning up to inspect Weedair, and finding three Tigers all marked as ZK-AUT on the strip.
I got my copy from Technical Books in Newmarket (Auckland).
