I can think of a few NZ based aircraft that have had biographical books written about them. Namely:
Hurricane P3351, the book being, "The Alpine Fighter Collection's Hurricane Mk IIA" by Ian Brodie
P-40N 'Kurrawong', the book being, "The Whole Nine Yards' by John King.
There are also a few compilations with collections of individual aircraft histories, such as 'Wanaka Warbirds' by Gerard S. Morris and Warren P. Russell
and
'New Zealand Warbirds' by John King
and
'Classic Aircraft of New Zealand' by Alex Mitchell and Stuart Russell
In this case I'm more interested in the books solely dedicated to one aircraft like the first two mentioned, have there been any others? Am I right in thinking there was a rare book all about the history of the Lancaster at Motat?

Hmmm ... that last book you mention sounds familiar. If I remember correctly it's got some great photography but the text could do with a bit of a tidy-up
