It is with some sadness I announce that Airnikon - Mickey Bednar has passed away in the US. He has a significant collection of aviation photos on a number of web sites and has a collection of early shots taken in New Zealand. One of these is ZK-BBM taken in 1977. A cross data search will give you the NZ collection by ticking on his name and the country. www1.airliners.net/open.file/0014738/L/His train photos are on: www.railpictures.net/showphotos.php?userid=207May he rest in peace.

Sad news, I too as with others will miss his contributions on Airliners.net, he was also a regular contributor to this fascinating obscure site that I have spent several hours on recently...... www.airfields-freeman.com/index.htmHe contributed alot of the current views.
