Air New Zealand says jobs will be created by the launch of three new direct regional services next year.
New routes between Invercargill and Wellington, Christchurch and New Plymouth, and Christchurch and Tauranga will be running within 12 months. Schedules will be confirmed early next year.
As well as more flight attendants, the airline says it will be looking for more operational staff as it extends its regional crew bases.
