Does anybody know the NZ reg of these? I checked the NZCAA web site and the Nieuport might be ZK-NIE? The Fokker Triplane there were two there and two on the register ZK-FOC and ZK-FOT? Any help would be appreciated. Colin

The Nieuport replica is definitely ZK-NIE/2 The Masterton collection had two 'new' Fokker replicas registered in Dec06, as you state, but so far I have no idea which is which.

So how many Fokker triplanes are there now in NZ? Seven? By my count, Seven is correct: ZK-FOK JOB JOC JOG JOK at Omaka ZK-FOC/2 FOT/2 at Masterton. There also the two Fokker biplane replicas - D.IV ZK-JPV/2 and D.VII ZK-FOD/3 both at Omaka. There was also another locally-built D.VII ZK-FQR being built at Hamilton quite a few years ago, but I don't think that was completed, and the registration has been cancelled. I find it interesting that the Sopwith Triplane, which was the first successful military triplane scout (and was the catalyst for and probably more successful than the Fokker version) has never captured the imagination of the public or the replica-building fraternity to the same extent.
