Where are they? NZ's biggest airshow and so far only one person has posted photos of the event. (Thanks Andrew!)

Give us a chance - I only got home late last night! Will try and post some tonight. Crikey give us a chance indeed just got off the plane from Queenstown tonight. I will spend most of tomorrow downloading to computer. Nice meeting you Don. Nice to meet up with others too like Gavin(awesome photos) Wal from Avspecs, Pete West, John Jardine and his wife Anne and Brian Petterson from Hamilton and featured in the Southland Times. Lucky I booked with ANZ some Qantas folks had a coach ride from Invercargill when there plane was diverted as it couldn't land at Queenstown. The Christchurch outgoing flight ended up catching a coach from Queenstown to CHC too. Sydney flight was cancelled till tomorrow. ANZ flights were coming and going okay. Cheers, Colin

Gosh it's pretty hard to spot the aircraft in that last image Cant you see the Stealth Bomber in that photo? Seriously though we find Wanaka Queenstown area to be quite relaxing and sitting at on the lake side with some good friends made it hard not to take a photo and boy it was smooth that day.

looks smooth enough fo a skilled and feeling lucky bloke to take his harvard for a skin across the surface. on that note, from seeing videos of those guys water skiing their harvards, has anyone in NZ done that.

A couple of photos I took were rather special of a father and son team. Simon in the commentary box with Jim and his dad Bryan doing the display at a young age of 74! Well done to the Gault family. After the display taxing back with a wave to the crowd. Colin

To all those, on all the various threads, who have been providing photos and reports on Wanaka - many thanks. They're great and much appreciated for the likes of envious muggins here who, yet again, didn't make it.
Cheers, Stu.
p.s. in an attempt to make me feel better for not being there, can I claim some stalls and tight turns I was doing over Orewa beach today as my own mini-Wanaka?
