Well not actually an air show but next week the National Aerobatic competitions are on at Waipukurau (again). For those you turn up you can get to see for FREE some of the best Aerobatic Pilots in New Zealand. Practice starts on Thursday and the competition runs until Saturday evening. Unfortunately the unlimited Pilots have been conspired against this year, and won’t be able to compete. However the rest of the field are set for one serious competition with perhaps the largest field of Sportsman, Intermediate and Advanced Pilots that we have had for many years. Additionally we are always looking for judges (not for this year, but who may be interstested in being trained) . So if you have a good eye (that would be a first!!!!) are prepared to be hated by the Pilots (in the best possible way) then come along and see what is involved. The best judges are normally not Pilots.
