I'll start this new thread with some shots I have put together of various aircraft that have been seen at the recent Classic Fighters air show at Omaka (and because I didn't get there I will just have to make it up virtually) - shots are inspired by the real life ones I have seen here and at other forums - first up the 'Bou. I'll add more as I go (yes Zac I will get to the Pfalz

Great idea! I'm looking forward to following this thread - it's virtually aviation art.

Great idea! I'm looking forward to following this thread - it's virtually aviation art. 'nuff said! Comment seconded. Oh Paul, what on Earth ever gave you the idea that I like Pfalzes? Looking forward to it dude! As I said over at NZFF, if anyone else is keen, this would be a great chance for other FS users to post their recreations of this year's show - Gavin's Se.5a comes to mind, I know there are several repaints of the Alphasim Harvard with NZ Warbirds liveries so a Roaring Forties is possible, how about trying the seven Dr.Is? I can tell you, if I had a copy of FS here, and a joystick, I'd be snapping away like mad!

Very nice. All three of those aircraft look great. You'd have a job to get NZ1803 along to omaka though, it's in the RNZAF Museum.

Didn't know it was the RNZAF museum Devon - the guy that did the model repaint lives near Wigram (he also made the Christchurch & Wigram airport scenery that was in one of the other threads & a Harvard repaint I have) so I guess it was easier to do than the Devons that live elsewhere.
Can anybody tell me what current RNZAF aircaft were at Classic Fighters other than the Airtrainers & Seasprite?

Omaka's show featured:
2 Iroqouis Seasprite Red Checkers PTSU Harvard
Also scheduled for that show were a Kingair, Hercules and Boeing but didn't attend for varying reasons

Thanks Guys Now for the RNZAF First up the Huey Hoisting demo (my chopper flying skills are woeful) The Herc decided to turn up to my airshow: Fast past Ramp down Flare Release Whoops! More to come (and yes the Pfalz & co are still coming - I am having problems with the recorder module and I can't get more than 2 aircaft up at once - hopefully I can work out what is wrong with it -probably the operator)

I wanna see the 22 radials up in the Tora, Tora scenario. And the formation that really impressed me was the two C-47's and two Mustangs. And I wanna see the Yak 3, and the Harvard team and the Checkers...

Wonderful. Your pictures are almost as good as looking at traditional aviation art.
