Discussion about A4 FlightSim and reality roll rates: www.razbam.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=88I'm the 'guy from Australia' who insisted that the A4 model be given more power, little realising that this would be applied to more than the A4G model. It is good that the developer Ronald Zambrano (RAZBAM) and other 'helper tweakers' of the flight model want to discuss these issues (roll rate for example). A few years ago there was no 'back and forth' so making one comment - once - without any followup was kind of a silly way to 'tweak' any model flight characteristics. I'm also aware that changing flight characteristics in Flight Simulator is an 'artform' rather than a science. Of course the A4K models are quite good if you have not come across them so far. BTW this is the problem when rolling more than one revolution in straight and level flight - the aircraft will quickly become uncontrollable through 'inertial roll coupling' I think is the phrase. Apparently doing more than one consecutive roll in vertical flight (as your own RNZAF aerobatic team solos and the Blue Angels did in their day) was not such a problem. Have been away from the flightsim world so had not been 'up to date' on the new RAZBAM website and recent developments.
