Well now that it is over let's have all the suppression orders lifted on the Police Rape case and then lets see how the public feel about this case , which illustrates so well how defective our legal system is in this area .

Defective? Arguments for and against were presnted by some of the top lawyers in the country, for both sides, in front of a jury of the people, who all voted "Not Gulty".
Given the sytems run in other parts of the world, I would have thought that verdict, with or without warts, was fair.
Personally, I had decided some time ago, that the alleged victim's story could never result in a guilty verdict because it was so full of holes. Whether they were guilty or not, you could never have shown that beyond reasonable doubt on the basis of her evidence.

I agree entirely , but the fact that two of these guys have a proven track record for this type of behaviour , and that there is a common thread through all the three cases , coupled to all the suppression orders these three have managed to have implemented and maintained over more than a decade , I believe we need to take a serious look at what has taken place . With all the facts out on public display I think many will see these cases in a different light .
