Conversion of the Hasegawa 1/48 Me109G-14 into Israel's first fighter, the Avia S.199. Will be completed in time for Israel's 60th Anniversary of Statehood, as I thought the first fighter used would be appropriate. Mine would be the old Hobbycraft 1/72 F-86E I got off Trademe(got another to make up), first model spraying alclad aluminium which actually came out pretty good considering. I made a bit of a meal of the finish due to dust, mosquito landing right in the path of the spray (I'm not kidding, I literally had a silver mosquito stuck to the paintjob )but was a learning experience being the first airbrushed silver finish. I'm happy with it but it'll stay in cabinet for known reasons. sorry no pics yet.

Somewhat late to the thread, but here is what I have been working on since the start of the year: Getting over a bout of AMS by ploughing through a heap of Tamiya's 1/100 range. F-105, Mig-19, and Saab Viggen pictured. Fiat G-91, Lightning F-6, Saab Draken, and A-4 in the pending pile. Good little kits you can knock out fairly quickly and not get bogged down in too much niggle!

Thanks Calum, been a few hold-ups on this, but plan to get back to it again this weekend given that it is going to be VERY wet here.
