Hi all. Hopefully you guys here can point me in the right direction. Am thinking about getting an SLR digital for Xmas. I already own a 35mm Canon and have a EF 100-300 F/4.5-5.6 lens to go with it. I see I can probably pick up a slightly used 350 for about half what I'll have to pay for the new 400. I'll be using the digital SLR for mostly family shots, the occasional airshow and some radio control model flying shots. Any experience out there with either that could help me make a good decision? Thanks, Les.

If you know the history of the used 350, it should be ok. But the 400 has some new and better features, the sensor cleaning being a really good one (if it works). If you have the money, a new DSLR would be the way to go. A link to a review of the 400D. www.dpreview.com/reviews/canoneos400d/
