That last shot is brilliant Gavin. Marlborough could do with some rain.

Very nice shots.
What type of V6 is under the bonnet?

It is fitted with a Suziki Vitara engine and sounds pretty good.

Well, I'd love to see and hear it in flight sometime. Maybe Classic Fighters 2009?

There are Three T51 mustangs under construction at Tauranga - must be a popular kit. 2 of them are being built in the Hangar where the PT2 that I am flying lives. Both of these are going to be Suzuki V6 Powered. The kits as supplied seem to have some shortcomings, most builders are incorporating some major improvements as they go. An example on the machines in the hangar is the trim tab hinges, the builders showed me the kit hinges and they are flimsy, floppy little things an inch and a half long. I wouldnt hang a door on my kitchen cupboard with them. The guys have replaced it with a proper piano hinge going the full length of the tab. Good to see so many projects under way, a flock of them will look really cool!

Very nice aeroplane and great pics. A friend has a FEW Mustang which is similar, and we tell him he needs a 3/4 scale head for realism.
