I was just watching the following clip on YouTube from the airshow at Wanaka last month.
Some home movie, not too bad, of the F-111 dumping and burning; then the P-40 shooting off its guns. But then something I've never seen at an airshow before, a flipping streaker!
Was this part of the act, or a genuine idiot? If the latter, as I suspect, I hope he was arrested. I can't think of a more dangerous place to attempt such a stupid act.

I saw him. Decided against taking a picture for posterity. I remarked to a couple of Aussies next to me, "you know, it's taken them 20yr for this to happen..."

What a goose! What is wrong with these idiots? There have been a couple of these incidents over here at horse race meetings recently. One idiot from Canberra ran naked onto the track near the finish line to celebrate his stag do - which not surprisingly caused one of the horses to shy, narrowly missing running into the fence.  He won't be laughing now though, as several bookmakers and horse owners are threatening to sue him for their losses after the race was voided because the leading horse was the one that veered and dropped back to third or fourth place. Boys, if you want to run around naked - do it at home. |
