WHat is the difference between a Cessna 402 and a 421? Pressurisation? Engines?

The 421 is slightly smaller and pressurised. different engines too. Early 402's had tip tanks, later ones, such as this have the 421's wet wing. The 421 has oval windows. The whole genology of the Cessna twins is somewhat convoluted to say the least!

Wasn't there a mostly terminal AD put out about Cessna 400 series aircraft and their spars?? Not a lot survived the AD in Oz. Is this a late production aircraft or has squillions been spent on the AD work?

Thought the AD only applied to 441 Conquests?
Just confuse the situation further from Bruces post, older 402s had oval windows!

Joe - is VAD protected in anyway? When it was parked up at Omaka there was no covers, caps or anything. - I wouldn't have thought it was the best way to protect your investment. i185.photobucket.com/albums/x159/Pilot0/VADLarge.jpgParked near the clubhouse and Al's baby ZK-CPT

There is a hangar being prepared where it will be based at Omaka. The interior finisheing work is all that remains and it was put in the hangar after we got those photos so it is being very well looked after. Will post a photo when the work is complete.

One of the existing hangars by the Bristol is having a make over and it will be housed there. A fair bit has been done which is the reason it has been outside but the hangar is looking really good with all work nearly completed.
