Hey, Haven't been here for a while. I've been busy building myself a racing-motorcycle over the last few months. Anyway, in it's first race, I got second in both of the points races so was over the moon with this. For anyone that’s interested, the racing class is called “Bucket-Racing” – 150cc four-stroke and 100cc two-stroke commuter based engines in any sort of frame. Inexpensive and a lot of fun !!! Here’s a pic of me in action (on 18th May)

Looks like a Brembo but is actually a Nissin caliper The engine is a Loncin 150, a Chinese Honda copy. Cheap brand new and quite competitve with a little hotting up. The bike itself is made up from a lot of different bikes, the frame being a Suzuki, the wheels Yamaha etc. Yup, is a whole heap of fun alright

That thing looks menacing Chris. Awesome. I used to watch the bucket racers racing at Wigram (apparently it all started down there) and they were cool. I'm almost sure they had a race for bucket racers with sidecars too, though it may have been another class. Either way, both were neat to watch for the non-motorcycle nut like me.

I used to race buckets back in 1988-1991 at Wigram so chances are you saw me there. They did have sidecars but they seem to be a thing of the past nowdays. Err....really Craig,....Cadburys have to catch me first !!! ;D
