I see in the latest Classic Wings magazine that Garth Hogan is selling his company Pioneer Aero Restorations, famous for restoring many P-40's to the air as well as a Yak 3 for OFMC, and other types like the Pilatus porter.
He has sold it to a partnership of the company's chief engineer Paul McSweeney, and fellow engineer Steve Cox.
Paul has shown me through the facility on two occasions and has helped me out with queries in the past. He's a great chap. I don't know Mr Cox. But I wish them both well with every success in continuing the great work of Pioneer Aero.
And a huge thanks to Garth Hogan for his efforts all these years in returning so many beautiful aircraft back to the air. Good luck for the future.

Paul was a framie on 14 Sqn before he went to Pioneer in 2002 after the ACF redundancies. Great to see he has done so well.
