Was the DH 4, A7893 used by used by Captains Isitt and Wilkes to fly over Mt Cook late in 1920 a Liberty engined aircraft.

As the aircraft was an imperial gift aircraft I would very much doubt it. If I find out otherwise I will post the info here.

No. Standard engine for RAF 'Fours' was the Rolls-Royce Eagle. Having said that, the NZ DH9s used the Siddeley Puma, which was an option for the DH4, so that would be an alternative either then or in later years.
