Further to our regular complaints about the media getting it very wrong, I have just seen a great example on TV One News. The reporter was doing an item on miniature Cows and how suitable they are for small blocks, including in town. She stood beside one animal and explained that "a "cow" like this can produce up to 20 Litres of milk per day". What she aparently missed, but was clearly visible on camera, was that going by the various appendages visible undernieth, this little animal would be highly unlikely to produce any at all! ;D
A complete load of Bull......

There used to be an ad on tv with that theme. A cocky with a milk bottle, standing with a bull, who offers the contents to a passing cyclist..... Can't remember the product (no, it wasn't cream!) or the rest of the ad, but it was very amusing.
;D

Bugger, they set the election date for the same weekend as Armistice in Cambride, something we hoped they wouldn't. Smegging gits.

Breaking news....... ...... more like a Party Political Broadcast! "Oh, and by the way, (20 minutes later) the date will be the 8 Nov," she said.

Bugger, they set the election date for the same weekend as Armistice in Cambride, something we hoped they wouldn't. Smegging gits. I share your annoyance Dave, I requested that weekend off as November 8 is my daughter's 16th birthday. Watch how quickly the leave approval gets yanked and I get stuck downstairs in the studio for the night. Also the excitement of leaders debates etc.... At least I can pull rank on those and get an assistant to shove a mic up Helen Clark's top (shudder).

The next show I'm involved in opens on Friday Nov 7th so I guess we have extra reason for after show drinks on the 8th ... to try and avoid going anywhere near a TV or Radio!
