Hi all,was at Wigram yesterday flying from there for the last time :'(to celebrate the Canterbury Aero Clubs 80th and while there had a look through the fllightstore. I bought the DVD of Kiwi Red (Six of the Best) and was wondering if any forum members knew what any of the 1990 Kiwi Red team were doing now. I have had the video of the team for a long time but have almost worn it out so the DVD should last a bit better and seems to be better quality as well or maybe it looks better on a big screen telly. Its a really stirring DVD and a great watch for anyone that has not seen it and shows our Air force when it had a bit of "force" in it . Cheers Bazzaboeing

Red 6 & 3 Airport super shuttle Peter King - Managing Director Peter’s involvement with Super Shuttle began at the end of 1998 following the successful take over of the business by his company Tourism Transport Limited. Peter entered the tourism industry in 1995 and in 1997 established the Custom Transfers & Tours corporate transfer service at Auckland International Airport with business partner Graeme Dobson. Prior to entering the tourism industry Peter served in the Royal New Zealand Air Force as a commissioned officer and pilot. During his military career Peter flew Skyhawk, Strikemaster, and Boeing 727 jet aircraft types throughout New Zealand and to many parts of the world. Graeme Dobson - Marketing Director Graeme also became involved with Super Shuttle at the end of 1998. His company Tourism Transport Limited owns and operates the Super Shuttle System of New Zealand which now incorporates the Custom Transfers business class service. Prior to entering the tourism industry in 1995 Graeme served in the Royal New Zealand Air Force as a commissioned officer and pilot. During his air force career Graeme flew Skyhawk, Strikemaster, and Aeromacchi jet aircraft types throughout New Zealand and South East Asia. www.supershuttle.co.nz/(S(e0uodg45f4wyjcixayhs1k55))/about/personnel.aspx

Thanks VGP, thats a fairly big drop in speed from the Skyhawk though. Does anyone else know of the current fates of any other members of the team?

I'm pretty sure John Bates (CO75 and 1990 team leader) is retired and living on his farm. Herb Keightly is still in Saudi teaching shiek's sons to fly fast jets. He went there in 2000. Jug Jackson (commentator and spare pilot) was flying jets in the RAF but I understand he has recently returned to NZ. I'm not sure what Craig Mitchell is up to these days?

Think you might find Barry Nelson - a Wg Cdr in the RNZAF - heading up the A-109 Helo Project in Milan, Italy...in fact I´m sure he is as had a BBQ and beer with him a few weeks back...same good guy.
