At least you didn't have to fly in an air ambulance Sam. All the best mate. Yeah tell me about it, I have seen the pictures on the wall in the Neo-nates ward

I remembered recently I never updated this after starting with so much drama. Charlotte remained in the Neo Nates ICU until mid October, when we finally got her home, only a few days after her scheduled due date. Since then she has progressed well, and had a further day op to widen her throat since the surgery site scar tissue wasn't expanding as much as needed as she grows. She also spent five days in hospital in June with Bronchiolitis, but that was bad luck more than anything else, and compared to what we went through at the beginning with her it wasn't much drama. Apart from that though, she is practically perfect and a real charmer to be around. Now 13 and a half months old she is walking and almost talking. The results of exploring the tupperware drawer in July With Tigger, she is still quite tiny (in the 3rd percentile for weight for her age. Small but perfectly formed, someone has to make up the stats!). Toddling around Manners Mall in Wellington last weekend And helping dad unpack something that came for him in the post also last weekend...
